Teaches and promotes student data and privacy through his or her instruction and role as an educational leader.
Current Practices

Provide a digital citizenship curriculum that provides students with information on media balance, online privacy, digital footprint, communication, cyberbullying, and news and media literacy.

Consolidate and limit the amount of student/staff created accounts.

Implement single sign on (SSO) and rostering for any application that has the capabilities.

Cyber security training through tools such as KnowBe4 completed throughout the school year.
Possible Areas for Growth

Evaluating all applications and websites that host student and staff data.

Continually evaluate and update the digital citizenship curriculum ensuring consistent, accurate, and developmentally appropriate information including artificial intelligence literacy.

Teaching all grades the importance of account security such as complex passwords and multi factor authentication (MFA).
